hey there, babes!
Aside from passionately pursuing photography I'm a total PNW lovin', coffee obsessed, winged eyeliner wearin' lady. Just as I want to get to know you, I don't want to be a stranger to you either!
Coffee Queen // I drink between 1 & 3 cups of coffee a day. Sometimes I go to bed early so I can get up sooner and drink coffee...sometimes I get into bed with a cup of coffee, hah! I have a problem.
I can't dance // If you roll up next to my car at a stoplight, you'd think otherwise. But any time my sweet boyfriend tries to romantically dance in the kitchen with me, I'm either standing on his feet so he can do the dancing for the both of us, or I'm tripping over myself. My arms got all the vibes and my legs are in the way.
Books & blankets // There are never enough. My dream is to have one of those incredible libraries in my home like in old movies. I'm all about art books and A Series of Unfortunate Events! Yes I watched the Netflix series, yes I watched it 3 times in 3 weeks.
But I can't help... // Swooning over Elvis Presley. If I could meet anyone that has passed away it would be '50s/'60s Elvis. My favorite song is Falling In Love With You. I know - big, cheesy surprise.
Disney is a way of life // I'm one of those people that still watches Sleeping Beauty and Peter Pan on VHS, and believes that Disneyland is actually the happiest place on Earth (Well second place, first happiest place is wrapped up in a blanket with my love!)
i feel there is nothing more artistic than loving people.

I didn't really think of photography as anything more than getting family photos at JCPenney every few years. It was getting those cheap, Kodak disposable cameras from the convenience store before a road trip. It wasn't spectacular, it wasn't mind-blowing, it wasn't relevant to me except for the photos of my baby years in my mom's photo albums. I had sparked a vague interest in it in middle school when I would take my little point and shoot to concerts, but I never imagined it ever being what it is to me today. Photography now is much more than a job to me. This is what keeps me up at night - crazy compositions, new editing techniques, different poses to get people to better show off their love for each other.
I'm a complete, head over heels, totally hopeless romantic. Seeing people in love and the idea of spending your entire life with someone you just couldn't live without makes my heart smile. I've been in love with love for as long as I can remember and the thought of doing wedding photography just made sense. I've committed myself to learning to be the best photographer I can be to provide my couples access to the sweet, now tangible little moments that made their wedding day so special and perfect in all its chaos. It's about preserving those moments for the bride and groom, their children, and their children after that, and so on. Photographs are little bits of experiences, and being able to live through the good ones again and again is absolute magic to me - that's why I do this. It's become a part of me and I can't wait to share it with you.
Keep on lovin' each other XO
You love coffee too?!
